Draft Day For Midwest Boozers

That's right, it's draft day again.  Not only am I author of this blog, I am also a commissioner.  Only time will tell if Sparkle Sparkle can defend her title and maintain the Boozer Cup, after beating my team last year in Boozer Bowl I.

Blog Outing Scheduled Saturday

It's that time again.  This Saturday the author and enough followers will be in the same spot to qualify for an Official 911 Outing.  The event will be an outing to the White Sox game with drinks to be had before and after.  I hope to see you all there.

911 ANNIVERSARY PARTY AND MIDWEST BOOZERS MIXER ANNOUNCED

That's right, on September 25th this blog will celebrate it's 1st birthday.  In honor of that event and the start of the Midwest Boozers Football League, there will be a social gathering at the home of the author of this blog and commissioner of the league.  This event will take place on Saturday September 24th.  I encourage all followers to attend as it's sure to be a can't miss event that will be covered by this blog and attended by authors of fellow bloggers, blog followers, friends, and Jeff Smith.  That's right, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but the only man that has had a whole week dedicated to him on this blog will hopefully make a special appearance.  If we're lucky and everything goes right, there will be a timeslot dedicated to him appropriately named "Storytime with Mr. Smith".  More details and guest appearances to follow.  This could be the event of 2011, so you don't want to miss it.

P.S.  I send my regrets to fellow blogger Mr. Mark Lush.  Your job lasted well longer than anyone imagined.  Almost longer than your voyage to the sacred land.  Thank God it didn't outlast that, or we would have had to have another going away, or retirement party for you.  Maybe you should have another party, and then they'll let you keep working for another month.

My Protege Comes Out With A Blog

Not sure if any of my followers have noticed but Daddy Landmeier is once again following in the footsteps of his mentor.  If you can find your way through the pointless drivel, amidst the abundance of spelling errors, you will find out more about his wonderful family.

On a serious note, it is worth taking a look.  It has taken me over a week to deliberate whether or not my blog would promote this new blog and I have come to the conclusion it has some significance and should be made aware to the followers of my blog.  Enjoy!
