Here is today's clue:
She has visited the White House and Lenin's tomb. She's also visited churches, bars, and strip clubs. She's been to the top of mountains and the bottoms of pools. She's been strapped to a Harley, a dog sled, and a golf cart. And along the way, she's been kissed, hugged, and admired by countless millions. They wait on line for more than an hour simply to enjoy a moment in awe with her. She travels over 100,000 miles a year, along the way raising millions of dollars for charity. Mostly, though, she's just taken on a trip to a favorite restaurant, an old high school, a retirement home, a night out on the town(Saturday). Several people have taken her to a cemetery to show their parents what they've achieved.
Can you guess yet?

3 Days Left Before The 911 Event Announcement
Only 3 days left. I know some of you have already guessed the event and it's location. For those of you who are still in the dark, here is your third clue. It's a description of the location of the event.
"There's a hint at something dangerous lurking beneath the friendly facade of this place, but after the first drink it's sure to ebb away into feel-good neighborhood alehouse oblivion.
Prices are fairly standard: three large coolers topped with neon-lit slogans proclaiming "Drink and Be Happy" offer up $4 Stellas, PBRs, and everything in between. Have a Jack and coke ($5) alongside what is by far the city's best deal on hard-boiled eggs (75 cents each); you can lounge around for hours knowing affordable nutritional sustenance is close at hand.
Take a seat at the bar rather than at the lone table at the rear of this one-room joint; the crowd will surely welcome you. The room, awash in amber neon light, suggests a snug, communal vibe: imagine the holiday family gathering sans the dysfunctional strife. This is the kind of place to be stumbled into on a bitter-cold winter night, when warmth is the sole objective."

A Bears Victory and 4 Days Left Before The 911 Event Announcement
If you were to tell me two months ago, or even two weeks ago, that the Bears would be 3-0 and the only undefeated team in the NFC after week 3, I'd say you're crazy. I can hardly believe it after that horrible preseason and first game against Detroit. I still have a lot of unanswered questions though. Why didn't I bet Andy this year? Why does Lovie Smith refuse to kick field goals to tie or take the lead on 4th down? Why did I start this blog? If Cutler keeps playing like this will he have the chance to date the entire cast of "The Hills"? How are the Bears still undefeated?

911 Event Announcement Coming In 5 Days
5 Days until the announcement. There will be a huge annnouncement Saturday afternoon for an event scheduled to happen Saturday night. This event, once again, has nothing to do with the Local Natives concert. I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for comments about the group attending that show. I realize feelings were hurt, and the comments were in poor taste. So, sorry you are going to miss the event scheduled for Saturday night, and sorry for calling you losers.
The first clue to the revealing of the event is as follows:
If you like dicks you'll love this event.

Recap from brunch and important info. to follow this Saturday
It turns out Lush has announced he will not be leaving untill October 23rd. Brunch went well. I'd like to thank Mr. Mark Lush for generously picking up the tab. If I would have known this was happening, I would have ordered more than just bacon and a Sprite. When I left this afternoon, George, Jim, and Ron were still there which is a record amount of time that he has spent in Boundary without getting kicked out. Congrats to all three of you.
In the future I am going to try to put some posts out at the beginning of each week. This will just be an informal look at what's on the horizon. This week there's a lot on the horizon. There will be one very important post on Saturday. There is a huge event happening on Saturday night. Time and place will be posted on this blog Saturday afternoon. This event has nothing to do with the group of losers attending the Local Natives show either. I do know that some in that group are going to be dissapointed they are missing the event I will post about.

Brunch and Recap from yesterday
Heading over to Boundary on Division for brunch at 10am. It's a sort of going away party for Mark Lush. He is heading to the sacred land of Israel. It should be fun to meet Mark's other friend. Hopefully there will be enough room there for all three of us.
Recap on yesterdays events:
Deerhunter was great, even though my friends and I were the only ones there that had A. showered in the last month, B. Did not paint our jeans on to us, C. Did not have a backpack on. Local H was a fresh flashback to the 90s. They played a lot of covers due to the fact that they have a covers album coming out. The best of which was a cover of TV on the Radio's "Wolf Like Me". Sponge was a stale flashback to the 90s. Their set reminded me of their hometown Detroit. Nothing new, just old songs that aren't as good as they once were. The people even left much like Detroit. The crowd that was there for Local H dwindled down to about half, if that.

9/25/2010
After years of requests, the blog has been started. This blog will keep you up to date on the life of me. What I'm doing, and where and when I'll be in places. So today I will be at the secret (not so secret anymore) show by Deerhunter in the Chicago Tribune parking lot off of Grand Ave. in Chicago at 4pm. Immediately following I will be heading over to Ogden and Racine to see Local H and Sponge. Wait a minute, what year is it? Yes that's right it's 2010.
