The Whigs at Lincoln Hall
Show was ok, sound was definitely better than Bottom Lounge. One interesting fact from the night was the appearance of George, Jim, and Ron's dance partner from that last Whigs show at The Bottom Lounge. He was once again in rare form, drinking tall boy Bush Lights, and maybe not as intoxicated as Jim was at the last show, but definitely had more to drink than the average person in attendance. Not sure if it was because George, Jim, and Ron were not in attendance, or if this guy has turned straight, but he had a female companion with him this time. Sorry you had to hear it here first G, J, and R. Your man love has a new woman.

I'm Back!.........or At Least I'm Going to Try!
RNDM is playing live tonight at Lincoln Hall. I saw them on Fallon the other night and they sounded great. I wish I could be there, but I won't be able to make it. If any followers can attend please fill us in with a review in the comment section. I will be in the same building on Friday, for the first official blog approved outing in a long time. All are welcome to join me, as 911 on the 411 in the 312 welcomes The Whigs to Chicago.

Dancing Video?
I've seen evidence of a new dancing video, possibly on Youtube, where I can be seen "cutting a rug". If you can find it, you may want to save your eyes and not watch it. Although, there are some moves on that video I haven't seen since Michael Jackson was alive and black. In the meantime, you can look at the last post for a classic.
Upcoming events..............
Bachelor party for George, there should be some interesting stories to come back from that party. All the details will follow the weekend of August 10-12th.

Found
Kristin's rowing team gave me a copy of her photo. They told me they think the only reason she joined the team was to row under Connel Bridge in Dublin. They also sent me a picture of Katie working to make money to visit her younger sister. This will just about wrap up their dedication week. Unfortunately most of the great pics I have of them when they were young, are not digital, and I didn't have time to scan them. Maybe in the future. Thanks again for the beer ladies.

A Week Dedicated to Katie and Kristin
Perhaps it was the text from Katie while I was at the zoo yesterday that asked me if I've read the title of Kristin's blog yet. Perhaps it was the fact that Kristin has started a blog that reminded me. Either way, I figured they came through in getting me a bottle of Faithfull Ale, and even though they were not the first, it was the thought that counts, and therefore I will dedicate a week to them both. Perhaps it was neither of these reasons, and the real reason is that I thought of both of them after filming this video yesterday at the zoo. The funniest part was the old man next to me asking his grandkids, "What's he eating, is he eating cardboard?". Well old man river, he was eating a little more than cardboard. Afterall, a gorilla eating cardboard would not be enough to make my blog.
When I saw his hand full of shit go to his mouth I immediately had to start filming to get this story to my followers. If I know my followers, and I think I do, there is nothing they'd like to see more than someone eating shit.
While I was at the zoo, I also couldn't help but notice how old and frail the male lion at the zoo was. They should probably let this "King of the Jungle" retire and get out of the public eye. He shows less life than the Tsavo maneating lions at the Field Museum.
