26 Hours and 2 Server Crashes Later!

I have acquired PJ20 Tickets at Alpine Valley for September 3rd and 4th.  Tickets to the fanclub went on sale yesterday at 12 noon central time.  At about 11:50 the server for Pearl Jam's website crashed.  At 11:38 the site had seen the most people logged on at one time in all it's existence.  At about 6pm the website declared that the web store was closed untill further notice with many tickets remaining.  They had apparently not expected the flood of requests from all over the world for this show.  Tickets went on sale to the fanclub only again today at 12 noon central time.  The website once again crashed but somehow remained functional enough to use links to get to the store and buy tickets.  I was one of the lucky fans that made it through and purchased a pair of tickets to both nights.  This should be one of the best shows of the year.  Tickets to the general public go on sale on June 4th.  Good luck to all those interested in trying to acquire these tickets.  More information can be found at:

Guys Night Out Part Deux and Show at Lincoln Hall

It's the long awaited return of Guys Night Out.  Who knows what will happen this time.  Unfortunately the blog will be departing from the debauchery of the night to attend a show at Lincoln Hall at 10pm.  By all estimates though, the majority of the participants from Guys Night Out will probably be sound asleep by the time the blog leaves Lincoln Hall.  If not the blog will try to meet up with the boys to continue the night and document the events that unfold as the night grows old.  Let's hope it doesn't top Guys Night Out Part One, because that would mean someone from the group has been shot.

Is that the blogs dollar from Guys Night Out Part One?

I think it is.  Hopefully I'll finish my coffee this time Featherbottom!

Bulls and Surfer Blood

The blog will be heading out once again to cheer on the Bulls.  Location is still undecided, but the date will be this Friday, May 6th.  Blog record stands at 1-3 for viewing parties, so let's hope it turns around.

The following night the blog will be venturing over to the Bottom Lounge to enjoy a night with Surfer Blood.

All are welcome and suggestions on a location for the game is encouraged.
